As for me, I am always overwhelmed with tasks. Even if I plan to do only two important things during a day, I end up feeling overwhelmed because I find dozens of related tasks to do to keep myself busy. Such a lifestyle often makes me feel exhausted by the end of the day. On the other hand, I have never tried to change my way of life until this moment.
Last year I entered the college and my life changed dramatically. Now, I have to combine doing multiple daily routines, visiting classes, doing homework, preparing for exams and being socially active. In such circumstances, busy lifestyle can be unbearable. So, I decided to stop exhausting myself and take some rest. I am only developing the habit of devoting time to myself and having effective rest, but I can tell for sure that the tips below turned out to be really helpful. Remember that many Other Students Feel the same
At the moments when you feel extremely exhausted with your homework, lectures and other things to do in your schedule, remind yourself that you are not the only one who experiences this overwhelm. Others manage to cope successfully, and you can be one of them.
At the times when you are overwhelmed in college, it is important to control everything. While your mind may get tired and leave some important task to do behind, writing them down will prevent you from forgetting. So, develop the habit of taking notes of to-do things. A study schedule or online organizer may help you in keeping all the things under control.
Regular workouts will keep your body and mind healthy. In addition, physical exercises will relieve daily stress. My favorite way to relax and concentrate is to jog in the morning. Fresh air and motivational music provide me with energy needed during the day.
Reconnect with Nature
This is another way to relieve stress. In addition to going for a walk and enjoying nature and weather outside, you may go hiking once a month. Reconnecting with nature on a regular basis, you will realize how helpful this method is in dealing with college busyness.
Having positive attitude to life in any circumstances will save your mind from exhaustion. Start looking positively on your college things. Smile often and you will make your mood better.
While in college, there will be many times when you will feel extremely exhausted and overwhelmed with multiple tasks to do. Help yourself to relieve stress and increase motivation using the tips provided in the article.
